Network Service Department is responsible for the expansion, operation and maintenance of the CDMA wireless network as well as the operation and maintenance of the Local Area Network (LAN).  This local network provides bandwidth and Internet connectivity for the information technology operations of the company countrywide.

Information Systems Department is responsible for theprepaid and postpaid platforms and related servers and software applications at that run the Company’s operations.

Administration/ Human Resources Division is home to four departments, these are:

  1. Human Resources Department: provides administrative support for the Company
  2. Customer Service Department: responsible for our showrooms countrywide that serve as phone sales outlets, bill payments, prepaid uploading, and direct customer service.  This Department is also responsible for the Call Center that deals directly with customer queries and liaises with the various departments across the company for support in answering customer queries and concerns.
  3. Sales Department: responsible for the sale of postpaid and prepaid plans, phones, and prepaid uploads.  They also provide solutions and support to our corporate customers.
  4. Procurement and Logistics Department: responsible for phone acquisitions, management and distribution, quality control and tracking of goods and clearance from Belize customs.

Finance Division is responsible for the management of the company’s accounting system; instituting controls and procedures to secure the company’s revenues and assets and preparing and submitting financial statements.  This division oversees all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, billing and treasury. Three departments make up this division:

  1. Accounts Department
  2. Billing and Collection Department
  3. Treasury

Marketing Department role includes research for development and improvement of products and services. It’s also responsible for developing and executing the various Marketing strategies to position the company’s products and services in the market; mounting and directing the promotional and advertising campaigns in support of these strategies, commercial aspect of roaming and carrying out the public relations for the company.

Speednet Communications Limited is lead by an experienced Senior Management Team (SMT) that is comprised of the Chief Executive Officer and five other highly qualified and experienced senior professionals.  The SMT has over 60 years of combined experience in senior management and over 25 years of combined experience in the telecommunications industry.

  • - Regulating the Telecommunications Industry Certificate, 2004
  • - Thirty (30) years of successful and progressive management and technology experience in the Telecommunications industry in Belize.
